  1. The first image is an articulating retractor. Not a time travel device. Not even close. The second image is ??? an early version of Google glasses? Still, not a time travel device. Nope, no way.
  2. Maybe,... ... but you are displaying it in the USA right now. I believe this domain is registered in the US or maybe Canada and subject to their trademark laws. It is Cosmo's call.
  3. I think in your case it tends more toward credibility than an actual arrest. That might only come if you are committing some form of actual fraud. I wanted to see your answer. Now, it is a matter for Cosmo to decide whether your illegal avatar can remain or not. As to your credibility, as thin as it is already, trying to present yourself in a manner that is, in fact, untrue, false, misleading, and actually illegal speaks volumes. You have demonstrated you are simply another wannabe time traveler with one of the worse attempts I have yet seen. I have no need to ask you further questions.
  4. I just have one question at this time. Are you aware that using the ® symbol on something that is actually NOT a registered Trademark is illegal? (See Section 906 of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office's Trademark Manual of Examining Procedure (TMEP) if you have any questions yourself.) You may wish to reconsider your avatar. PS. If your answer is something on the order of, "It isn't registered.."Yet"..." save it. It is illegal to use it while waiting for an application to be approved also.
  5. I've watched it twice. I liked it's approach, the story line was very good, and I wanted to be sure I didn't miss something. I hadn't. Third times a charm...
  6. I though I posted some serious questions. I suppose the format was unfamiliar to someone from 2046 so I'll try again, in a more compendiary manner. You stated: Question 1 How do you know it existed if it was "lost"? You stated: Question 2 Why would you, or your superiors, believe it will exist in "this" T/L since this T/L was created when you entered it? To a question asked on another forum; "Do you know John Titor or heard of him? Does he exist in your timeline? You stated: Hello I'm from the year 2046 Since, again, your DToTT states a "new" time line IS created with each jump... Question 3 How do all of these time travelers keep ending up on this SAME time line? Thank you in advance for your answers.
  7. The above post was in reply to an article linked in another forum. I include the link here so the above post can make more sense... if it makes any to begin with. The melting of Greenland and Antarctica isn’t just raising seas — it’s changing the Earth’s rotation
  8. I really can't understand what has happened to science and scientists over the past years. Maybe it's not science as a whole but only those that are eager to accept an agenda and submit their finding to agree with a desired premise and then only those in agreement find their efforts accepted and their results published. I don't know for sure but I am very disappointed in the field I have followed and loved for so many years. These are estimated values calculated from the best information science currently has available. For what that's worth. Mass of Earth: 5.972 × 10^24 kg Mass of Water: 1.350 x 10^21 kg A little math and it becomes apparent that the water constitutes ~ 0.02% of the mass of the planet. 2 tenths of 1 percent. Not very much. For comparison, if you weigh 200 lbs, the equivalent is 0.64 ounces. Or in metric, 100 kg, the equivalent is 20 grams. That's less than 1 shot of whiskey. Imagine being in your favorite watering hole holding a shot glass and the bartender fills it up. Do you lose your balance? The only time a shot of whiskey affected my axial center was when it was around the 10th or so in a night. Their assumption also relies on a "perfect sphere(?)", which this planet IS NOT. Equatorial bulge anyone? It would seem to me anyway, much of any added water from ice melt would naturally move to the equator maintaining the majority of the mass at the equator. Maybe? Then there are the gravitational affects of the Sun and the Moon not only on the Oceans but on the planet itself. Of course, we can not consider the fact (?) that the iron core of the Earth spins independently of the crust, which produces our magnetic field which, aligns according to the position of the magnetic poles which, have been moving around for, I don't know, let's say, over a billion years. Right, forget ALL that. Let's jump to conclusions like the good little tax-payer funded followers we are. It's ... at least partially... the result of water displacement... caused by... of course... global warming which... even thought conveniently not mentioned in the paper but... certainly implied in the article which... is again of course... the result of human activities on the planet. Everyone... you know, the consensus, the 97%, (the 76 out of 78 that agreed)... agree that natural forces are not the major contributing factor. The Sun, 333,000 times more massive than the Earth or the Moon, 81 times 'less' massive than the Earth but still 54 times more massive than the water on the Earth could affect this by possibly pulling on the molten inner core of this planet or the iron core at the center. Remember the high and low tides? They range from 2 feet in the open ocean and 38 to 53 feet along some coast lines. Our friends in England may be familiar with the 50 foot tidal range in the Severn Estuary. None of these things could be affecting the axial movement or pole shift. No... it's far more likely that global warming is causing ALL the ills this poor planet is experiencing because of the infestation of disgusting humans that only know how to destroy everything they touch. Damn humans. As for me, I believe... no better yet, I know the reason for this is the Aliens that live in the hollow middle of the Earth. They are moving around in there and causing the axis to shift. Damn Aliens.
  9. 1993... for a "lost" tech... how do you know it existed if it was "lost"... why would you, or your superiors, believe it will exist in "this" T/L since this T/L was created when you entered it? (Dimension Theory Of Temporal Travel ) was explained by a technician to me along these lines, that for every decision or action that's made, the alternative is played out in another reality. He when on to explain in the most simplest of terms, That the act of simply travelling back in time creates a new "world-line", distinct from the one from which you left. So by going back in time you can change events but those changes wont effect YOU, or the world-line you came from. You just prevent another version of yourself from a (lag reality) undergoing the experience. However the (Dimension Theory Of Temporal Travel ) means there are already versions of yourself that haven't undergone the experience you want to change. You can only go forward in time in the same world-line, not back without it becoming a new reality. There sadly a number of users on this forum that are not going to grasp these concepts due to being ill-educated in basic mathematics and science and dare I say lacing in common sense. Serious Claim - How my temporal displacement device (time machine) works! ( I won't begin questioning what "Time Laws" exist that also create a "PAST" whenever a "NEW" T/L is created by all you TT'ers out there... seeing as how " I " remember "existing" before 1993.) "Do you know John Titor or heard of him? Does he exist in your timeline? Yes, we are part of the same division." Hello I'm from the year 2046 JT and you end up on the same time-line. How fortunate for us... and you. I mean, what are the odds that both you and John would "create" the same T/L. Why do you offer revelations of "our" future (or our possible future)? You can only offer what has occurred in "your" T/L. You are engaging in the same mistake JT made when he capitulated and begin answering questions about the future and "his" civil war. This sounds to me like just another weak attempt at perpetuating the same story all over again. These Tales FAIL at the statement, "I first went back to XXXX year to retrieve a Blah blah blah... ". I'd like to say, "Nice try." but it isn't.
  10. Based on what you have written here, I encourage you to see your physician and relate these symptoms to him. I mean no disrespect and I do not wish to elicit any fears in you but, if you are experiencing these symptoms, your physician can rule out any serious issues.
  11. I'm not an archaeologist, (obviously), because I always thought cave art and rock drawings were just come caveman's kids drawing on their bedroom walls or putting graffiti on public rocks. Still, could you offer some links?
  12. This has been around for quite awhile but I wanted to share it again... here. This is for all you whipper-snappers that think recycling, i.e. "Green", is YOUR idea. How Wasteful The Older Generation Was In the line at the store, the cashier told the older woman that she should bring her own grocery bag because plastic bags weren't good for the environment. The woman apologized to him and explained, "We didn't have the green thing back in my day." The clerk responded, "That's our problem today. The former generation did not care enough to save our environment." He was right, that generation didn't have the green thing in its day. Back then, they returned their milk bottles, soda bottles and beer bottles to the store. The store sent them back to the plant to be washed and sterilized and refilled, so it could use the same bottles over and over. So they really were recycled. But they didn't have the green thing back in that customer's day. In her day, they walked up stairs, because they didn't have an escalator in every store and office building. They walked to the grocery store and didn't climb into a 300-horsepower machine every time they had to go two blocks. But she was right. They didn't have the green thing in her day. Back then, they washed the baby's diapers because they didn't have the throw-away kind. They dried clothes on a line, not in an energy gobbling machine burning up 220 volts -- wind and solar power really did dry the clothes. Kids got hand-me-down clothes from their brothers or sisters, not always brand-new clothing. But that old lady is right; they didn't have the green thing back in her day. Back then, they had one TV, or radio, in the house -- not a TV in every room. And the TV had a small screen the size of a handkerchief, not a screen the size of the state of Montana. In the kitchen, they blended and stirred by hand because they didn't have electric machines to do everything for you. When they packaged a fragile item to send in the mail, they used a wadded up old newspaper to cushion it, not styrofoam or plastic bubble wrap. Back then, they didn't fire up an engine and burn gasoline just to cut the lawn. They used a push mower that ran on human power. They exercised by working so they didn't need to go to a health club to run on treadmills that operate on electricity. But she's right; they didn't have the green thing back then. They drank from a fountain when they were thirsty instead of using a cup or a plastic bottle every time they had a drink of water. They refilled their writing pens with ink instead of buying a new pen, and they replaced the razor blades in a razor instead of throwing away the whole razor just because the blade got dull. But they didn't have the green thing back then. Back then, people took the streetcar or a bus and kids rode their bikes to school or rode the school bus instead of turning their moms into a 24-hour taxi service. They had one electrical outlet in a room, not an entire bank of sockets to power a dozen appliances. And they didn't need a computerized gadget to receive a signal beamed from satellites 2,000 miles out in space in order to find the nearest pizza joint. But isn't it sad the current generation laments how wasteful the old folks were just because they didn't have the green thing back then?

    For the fun of it

One Sunday morning, Satan appeared before a small town congregation. Everyone started screaming and running for the front church door, trampling each other in a frantic effort to get away. Soon, everyone was gone, except for an elderly gentleman who sat calmly. Satan walked up to the man and said, "Don't you know who I am?" The man replied, "Yep, sure do." Satan asked, "Aren't you going to run?" "Nope, sure ain't," said the man. Perturbed, Satan asked, "Why aren't you afraid of me?" The man calmly replied, "Been married to your sister for over 48 years."
  14. Why people make such absurd statements is an even bigger concern than all of these doomsday/death scenarios... with the exception of "crossing the street" which everyone knows is the most dangerous thing anyone can do.:D But, back to the white hole; Sorry Hyououin Kyouma, this is not a "new" hypothesis. It's been around since 1964. "The possibility of the existence of white holes was put forward by I. Novikov in 1964" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_hole I just can't understand why some physicists want to depict a black hole as some kind of in/out funnel looking thing. There is no way, if they do exist, that they would look like the depictions everyone is familiar with and certainly not a in/ black hole side... out/ white hole side. The images that are out there are some of the stupidest things I've seen come from astronomy/cosmology/ astrophysics etc. As far as AGW/GW goes, I'd like to see the discussion restarted. I missed it in 2008-09.
