Hello from Canada!

Just wanted to quickly introduce myself and express how excited I am for this forum.

Always loved Sci-Fi, especially time travel centric stories, so this was a great place to find!

Certainly glad to have you :D Welcome!

I've been a huge fan of time travel, John Titor and just the concept in general since I can remember too :D

Welcome. What kind of video games do you play? What do you like to write? Feel free to share. :)

I like classic adventure games like Day of the Tentacle, Maniac Mansion, Myst, etc. I also enjoy The Elder Scrolls, and other fantasy games like Bioshock Infinite (as well as MMORPGs). I write fiction :D , working on an ebook right now.

Maniac Mansion

Oh man, I LOVED this game when I was a kid. My neighbor had it on NES, but it was a lot more fun on the computer. I wish they still made games like this!

As an aside, I've had an idea for a time travel-related game for a while... Someday I'll make it happen :D

Yeah it's definitely one of my favorites! People do still make games like this at the community http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/site/games/ These guys are keeping the genre alive! Good luck on the game, I have a few game ideas in mind also :) !

Hi folks! The name is Tin and I'm glad to be in this forum. My real interest in time travel started a long time ago, when I read the third Harry Potter book, The Prisoner of Azkaban. Before that, the cartoon and movie version of Back to the Future laid the foundation for my interest. JK Rowling heavily exhausted the concept of time travel in her third HP book without sounding cheesy and overrated. I then came across a documentary in Nat Geo that chronicled Stephen Hawking's theory on time travel (moving at a speed faster than light will zap one into the future) and ended up talking about it with my siblings and friends at various instances over the last few years.

What really made a huge intellectual impact on me (and got me so excited at the possibility) was the anime Steins;Gate. Never was I impressed with the time travel concept as I was when I watched the anime. I have never met or heard the name John Titor until Steins;Gate. The plot fused John Titor's theories with SERN's alleged time travel experiments. Watching it basically sealed the deal for me. Of course, contrary to Professor Hawking's proposition - that we can only travel forward in time and not backward - the anime made an attempt to prove that backward time travel is indeed possible albeit with dire consequences.

Anyway, lest I become even more impassioned, let me just say nice to meet you all! See you around the forum, guys!

Hi, I am an art-minded person. I tend to enjoy all things that are made up and new. As well as theories about new possibilities or old. In college I took a science fiction course and classical mythology course in one semester. It was the best semester ever. Reading all those fascinating ideas and what others believed or created in their minds was so inspiring. One book that really stuck with me was H. G. Wells The time machine. I remember watching the old film and how the two human races were depicted, so creative. Then later there was an updated version which I do not think was as well done. The same year I had those two course I also had an illustration course. We had to design a cover for a VHS tape. I choose The Time Machine. It was definitely unique. Everyone else did covers for modern movies and I did my on this older movie. I look forward to learning about time travel and other's ideas and stories.
